Role SummaryCreate and extend UIs for applications we build, ensuring good user experience on desktop and mobile.
ResponsibilitiesHelp scrum teams in the Platform and Development department to create modern looking, user friendly and fit-for-purpose applications and products
Execute all UI design stages - from concept to final hand-off to engineering.
Conceptualise original ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex applications.
Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps to effectively communicate the implementation of user stories and design ideas.
Present and defend designs and key milestone deliverables to peers and executive level stakeholders.
Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices and UI/UX standards in Appsbroker.
Appsbroker is looking for an individual with the following attributes:
ExperienceStrong portfolio (please include a link or examples in the job application).
Demonstrable UI/UX design skills.
Proficiency in HTML and CSS.
Experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows and process flows.
Proficiency with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator or any other visual design and wireframing tools.
Ability to present your designs and explain your solutions to various stakeholders.
Ability to think critically, solve problems creatively and effectively.
2+ years experience in a similar role.
Agile Scrum Methodology experience.
Basic Javascript development experience.
Basic knowledge using MVVM Javascript frameworks (React and/or AngularJS).
